This QuickTalk will present a case study of a Front-of-The-Meter (FTM) microgrid that provided uninterrupted power to homeowners in Tampa during Hurricane Milton, while tens of thousands of homes in the area lost electricity. This marks the fourth hurricane since June 2022 in which the two-tier microgrid system has maintained continuous power. This discussion will provide an overview of the microgrid and the plans for more advanced versions to enhance its reliability further.
